GOLF PRO SHOP SALES CLERK

LOCATION: Windy Harbor Golf Course, Golf Division, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department, Naval Station, Mayport, Florida.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: A flexible employee is one who serves in either a continuing or temporary (time limited) position, on a scheduled or unscheduled (as needed or intermittent) basis, up to 40 hours per week.  Flexible employees are not eligible to participate in the CNIC benefit programs, nor are they entitled to earn or use leave including military leave, court leave, sick or annual leave.

WORK SCHEDULE: Averaging 0-29 hours per week.  A rotating schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

DUTIES: Responsible for change funds, cash and credit receipts received during shift. Receives all fees and charges, including rentals, memberships and retail sales.  Incumbent records golf scores of members for input into computer.  Incumbent assigns golf carts, tee times and rental equipment.  Records starting times for play on weekends and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applications will be reviewed against the following skills and knowledge. Demonstrated experience requiring the ability to follow oral instructions.  Demonstrated experience in a position requiring the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers.  Demonstrated knowledge of golf and golf operations.  Previous experience in operating a cash register and using a calculator.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
*Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a National Agency Check.
*Employment in positions requiring pre-employment physical examinations is contingent on passing the physical examination.
*Direct Deposit of your paycheck is mandatory and is a condition of employment.
