Natatorium 

Our Natatorium is located inside the Fitness Center and features a 50-meter Olympic-size pool. Family swim, lap swim, and aqua fitness are some of the many programs offered throughout the year. 

Outdoor Pool 

Our 50-meter Olympic-size Outdoor Pool is ONLY open in the summer (currently closed for the season). The pool features a splash area for young children, an 18-foot water slide, and a bathhouse. The pool is the perfect place to host a birthday party or private event during the summer season. 

AQUA FITNESS CLASS 
Tuesday & Thursday: 10 am - 11 am (located in the natatorium)

AGE REQUIREMENTS

10 years old and under: All youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 16 years of age who must remain at the pool the entire time.
11-15 years old: Youth ages 11-15 who have passed the Navy Youth Swim Test can enter the aquatics facility unaccompanied, with
valid Military ID. The parent or guardian is required to be present during the Navy Youth Swim Test.
16-17 years old: Required to take the Navy Youth Swim Test to have full use of the aquatics facility.
18 years old and over: Not required to take the Navy Youth Swim Test to have full use of the aquatics facility.

NAVY YOUTH SWIM TEST REQUIREMENTS

  1. SWIM 25 yards with a recognizable front swim stroke unassisted and without rest on front. Breast stroke and front crawl are allowed. Backstroke is not allowed.
  2. JUMP into the deep end, fully submerge, return to surface and tread water with ears and mouth out the water for 60 seconds.
  3. EXIT pool unassisted. Using the ladder or stairs is allowed.
  • Unaccompanied youth ages 11-15 who have passed the swim test must be signed in and out by the parent/guardian dropping them off.
  • All youth ages 15 and under who have not passed the Navy Youth Swim Test will require a parent/guardian who is over the age of 16 to be in the water with them and provide active touch supervision.

Level 1
  • No water experience needed
Level 2
  • Can enter the water independently
  • Comfortable putting their face in the water
  • Can do 5 bobs
  • Back float 5 Seconds
  • Front float 5 Seconds
  • Swim on front or back for 5 yards
Level 3
  • Can perform level 2 skills
  • Tread water for 15 seconds
  • Swim on front or back for 15 yards
  • Back float 15 seconds
Level 4
  • Can perform level 3 skills
  • Tread water for 1 minute
  • Swim front crawl 25 yards
  • Swim elementary backstroke 25 yards
Level 5
  • Can perform level 4 skills
  • Swim front crawl 25 yards, change direction then swim elementary backstroke 25 yards
  • Swim breaststroke 15 yards
  • Swim back crawl 15 yards
  • Swim underwater 10 yards
Level 6
  • Can perform level 5 skills
  • Perform a shallow-angle dive, swim front crawl for 50 yards then swim elementary backstroke for 50 yards
  • Perform appropriate and efficient turning styles
  • Swim breaststroke 25 yards
  • Swim back crawl 25 yards
